Adding more uplights at the front gate to draw attention. More bright & colourful lights dotted around the place.

A new neon sign made with LED strip lighting or bulbs which should last longer than ones currently in. Maybe a brand new sign doesn’t have to be done for re-opening date but definitely something we should get done this summer as ours is very weathered.

Putting more seating down by the back gate + where Kinara used to be opposite the stage area. Even using more barrels/this style. Get free barrels from Bulmers & paint them.

Adding more plants around the place giving a more Greentonic vibe. Adding a herb wall behind where the swing normally is where vendors could use whatever we grow here. Adding boxes like below to the wall for quirky lighting / could change it up for diff festivals etc.

Getting new, bigger & clearer bins for recycling and prompting vendors to do this too throughout Eatyard.
Having new small businesses in for a month at a time free of rent on the Eatyard stage area which will now be our ‘Incubator’ area similar to the pop-ups at Yuleyard which worked really well slotting people in and out. We would have the vendor every Sat + Sun 12-10pm for the run of one month then swap over as we go. So far I have spoken to Gut Instinct kombucha, Sceal bakery, Breadnation, Beanantees tshirts, Forester vegan leather bags, Chew Brew bubble tea, Oh Happy Treats cakes, Two Bytes Baos. We will be doing some refurbs on the stage to make sure it’s warmer than it was before and move the stage to be a pop-up feature near the caravan.
Having a large changeable sign at the front gate saying WHO IS HERE. This means people know straight away who’s here and what food options there are and we can change this as Eatyard changes eg adding on pop-ups if we need to for festivals etc. Possibly also having a map where we can change the names on where they are located within Eatyard too probably something we can do ourselves on one large blackboard. Buy big piece of wood/make it, paint it with chalkboard paint then get it framed to make it look neater.
